Family-owned Garner Wayside Furniture to close after 61 years
Final liquidation sale begins September 26
GARNER, N.C. (September 24, 2024) — Garner Wayside Furniture is going out of business after 61 years of providing high-quality furniture to the Triangle area. As the family-owned and operated business begins its final liquidation, the community will get a rare opportunity to take advantage of the events at this independent retailer.
Founded in 1963, Garner Wayside Furniture has built a reputation for excellent customer service while providing name brand furniture at affordable prices. The owner plans to retire after the liquidation event and close the family business that has served so many in the area for more than six decades. Family members and staff expressed their deep gratitude to their loyal customers and community for all of their support.
Garner Wayside Furniture’s going-out-of-business sale opens to the public September 26. Located at 1460 Highway 70 West, next to IHOP, the 25,000-square-foot store will be wall to wall with deeply discounted furniture. The must-sell inventory includes fine leather living room sets, regular and power motion recliners, bedrooms, dinettes, beautiful wall art, lamps and accessories, and all types of mattresses.
